At Hildreth Institute we take a student-centric approach to our work, advancing effective equity promotion policies across the higher education landscape. Our research has found that even in Massachusetts, one of the wealthiest states in the nation, severe educational inequalities and disparities persist across economic class, gender, and race, impacting higher education access and attainment.
Our research seeks to uncover the causes and consequences of these systemic disparities and to develop actionable solutions, helping to close the gap between those who can afford a higher education and those who cannot.
